Introduction :

The merger has resulted in the creation of the largest mobile telecommunications company in Cambodia with more than 8 active million subscribers. Smart provides mobile service in 2G, 3G, 3.5G, 4G and the latest 4G+ in all 25 provinces and cities of Cambodia. Job Requirement :
  •  University graduated in IT field
  •  High attention to details
  •  Perfect TCP/IP knowledge;
  •  Knowledge of SAN and NAS storages connection principles;
  •  Proactive, energetic, self confident
  •  Good in English, both written and spoken
  •  Self-starter
  •  Able to work under pressure
  •  Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows OS for at least 3 years;
  •  Hands-on experience with MS Exchange and active directory for at least 2 years;
  •  Hands-on experience in SAN storage operation and management.
Job Duties :
  • Ensure all IT systems operate 24x7 with minimum possible interruptions. 
  •  Monitor and pro-actively support the systems. Initiate timely expansion, optimization and upgrades of the systems. Run the systems at the highest efficiency.
  •  Administration, configuration, management and maintenance of Windows domain, DNS, DHCP, web, Proxy, FTP, file-, printer-, mail- and other Windows and Linux-based servers; Call-center and office PABX system management.
  •  Dealing with virtualized environment;
  •  Ensuring anti-virus and spam protection;
  •  Support running of SAN and NAS storages;
  •  Periodical backup of server systems;
  •  Monitoring and managing server performance (processor, memory, hard drives etc);
  •  Submission of failed and broken units (servers, storages etc) under warranty to suppliers, coordination with service partners;
  •  Daily support of internal Smart users via IT helpdesk in terms of IT support;
  •  Daily tracking of RRD graphs for servers load, checking hardware alarms and applying preventing measures to mitigate possible problems;
  •  Maintaining of diagrams of the entrusted systems;
  •  Proposing ideas towards unification, simplification, modernization and automation of the systems.
  •  Other relevant tasks assigned by head of IT infrastructure, CIO and CEO.
