Smiling Gecko Switzerland (SGS) was established in 2012 as a not-for- profit organization under Swiss law. It provides direct aid in the form of finance and other support to the needy in Cambodia, sponsoring projects that are sustainable both from an ecological and economic standpoint. Smiling Gecko is a non- governmental organization engaged in a number of development and aid projects. These include humanitarian projects assisting children, families and village communities through campaigns and / or direct aid; mediation services, bringing the people behind projects (or the relevant sponsors) into contact with potential donors; allocation of donations according to the wishes of the donors; information for donors on the progress of projects and how their money is spent. Meanwhile, SGS is partnering with a network of esteemed Swiss institutions who sustain our projects by supplying financial funds and lending them their specific know-how and / or by taking on such responsibilities as planning, design, training, coordination and controlling both in Switzerland and Cambodia.

• Holding Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management is preferable or related fields which focus on tourism industry
• At least 3+ working experience in the field of Hotel & Restaurant Management 
• Knowledge of the daily operations of the front desk, reservations, yield management and problem resolution
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, P&L statements, operating budgets, forecasting and scheduling, and the reporting of financial data
• Understand the total hotel revenue management concepts, processes and strategies
• Strong work ethic or conscientious, self-motivated, negotiation skills, result oriented driven and demonstrate to high level of inter-personal skills 
• Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm in the job 
• Good command of written and spoken English is a must 
• Computer Skill literate in MS Office and Internet & Email 
• Be a team a player, honest, and hard-working 

• Hotel & Restaurant Manager works closely with Farmhouse Project Manager to ensure the smoothness and success of the operation of Farmhouse Restaurant, Farmhouse Bungalows and Other Farmhouse facilities (Yoga Salah, Massage Center, Swimming Pool, etc.)
• Develop and implement policy procedure for operations
• Ensure SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) in all Farmhouse facilities and conduct routine operational inspections 
• Conduct regular operational team meeting to discuss routine operation matters, sales targets, guest feedbacks, actions taken for service recovery and staff issues
• Investigate complaints, disturbances and violations and resolve problems following management rules and regulations 
• Generate necessary legal action, documents and process in accordance with country’s regulation and guidelines 
• To do other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
