Job Description :

This position is responsible to launch, manage and develop a new innovative service for Smart. With Fixed Broadband offering, enable Smart to become the preferred supplier of consumer services for Home connectivity and entertainment. Identify and implement (a range of) CPE's/devices to best support the product portfolio and collaborate to bundle the most preferable content offerings. Liaising with other CMO, CIO and Network departments to secure a successful implementation of the agreed product road map. Support the sales teams to deliver on commercial targets. Ownership and delivery of the business plan. Desired mindset of an ideal candidate: thinking as one would be a CEO for this product, full 360 degree involvement.

Job Requirement :
  •  Bachelor or a master degree in business administration, economics, finance, engineering, computer science, or an equivalent in working experience. Interest in building products for consumer markets is essential.
  •  Minimum of 3 years work experience in same or similar role in telecommunications or a similar environment. 
  •  Experience of working collaboratively with diverse range of stakeholders at all levels including senior management and key professional staff, both internal and external to the organization, in order to achieve successful outcomes.
  •  Product development background, analytical skills, high level of personal involvement and preference for team work.
Job Duties :
  •  Analyze competitive products and product roadmap.
  •  Analyze local and worldwide fixed broadband market landscapes and competitive environment (Understands competition's weaknesses).
  •  Generate new ideas for the evolution of Smart's fixed access products.
  •  Ensure products are planned and key capabilities are shared and communicated to delivery departments (CIO/CTO/Digital).
  •  Coordinate product development with engineering, field teams and develop products based on their feedback. 
  •  Work with customers, partners, internal field personnel and prospect to develop and always evolve the product requirements.
  •  Write requests for enhancement, product requirements, concept papers and product descriptions for product enhancement.
  •  Support preparation of product presentations to sales people and/or any other stakeholders.
  •  Evangelize the advantages of replacing ADSL connectivity with alternative fixed access solutions from Smart.
  •  Educate and train internal and external groups on product positioning and key product USPs. 
  •  Support field teams in overcoming customer objections, performs/coordinate root cause analyses, update product requirements accordingly.
  •  Oversee the innovation and improvement of the product as well as the day-to-day product activities in such a way that ensures that the product is constantly evolving to meet needs of consumers. 
  •  Ensure that necessary steps are being taken to make any modifications that are being made in the product or strategy in order to bring out the best results for the business
  •  Actively source for new areas for the Product, filters and proposing to CMO and other CxO next innovative products to be launched.
  •  Definite the product, support in configuration, orchestration of the UAT and ensuring product quality. 
  •  Prepare and orchestrate service configurations; ensure correctness of charging and functionality of all defined product attributes.
  •  Ensure all customer journey stages are properly addressed: information discovery, activation, in-life-management, re-newal and that the same are available in all channels of a customers' preference. 
  •  Perform product quality tests and periodical market surveys in order to ensure customer feedback is properly captured and valued .
  •  To Organize and inspire of the Go To Market for the Fixed Broadband products.
  •  Work with Marketing teams to create and review the creation of data sheets, printed manuals, and other training and GTM materials.
  •  Based on market insights, prepares the right ideas in order so that product gets delivered with the right and inspired GTM plan. 
  •  Work closely with the marketing team, monitors and steers the GTM preparation.
  •  Based on field insights, advises on the key channels and the right media for the successful GTM . 
  •  Ensure KPIs are measured on weekly basis and actions are taken so that business plan KPIs are achieved.
  •  Coordinate stakeholders (Smart shops and other channels) to communicate product benefits in order so business plan targets are fulfilled. 
  •  Influence the business’s product strategy, ensures Smart makes informed decisions in order to achieve the business plan for the Product.
  •  Other tasks are assigned by line manager.
