• At least high school diploma 
• Knowledge in health or fitness field such as exercise science, kinesiology and programs
•  Used to take fitness class / training
•  Understanding of lifestyle, diet and human body
•  Awareness of safety and good working practices
•  Patience and the ability to explain thing clearly

•  Demonstrate how to carry out various exercises and gym equipment
•  Monitor clients progress and adapt programs
•  Conduct emergency first aid if needed
•  Give clients information or resource about nutrition or weigh control
•  Show or tell them the correct techniques to minimize injury
•  Explain and enforce safety rule and regulation on sport, recreational activities, and the use of exercise equipment
