Introduction :

Job Requirement :

• Finish Bachelor Degree as minimum educational requirement 
• Have minimum 2 or 3 years of experience in store operation (department manager) or in the traditional market
• Have experience in import (preferred)
• Have knowledge of fruit & vegetable management in store or In traditional market
• Have knowledge of fruit & vegetable product specificities
• Demonstrate intermediate level of english speaking
• Have knowledge of purchase 
• Have excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Have ability to communicate with farmers
• Possess basic IT skills
• Have ability to influence people (internally and externally)
• Have ability to work under pressure
• Have ability to work as part of the team as well as to work independently
• Be a strong and mature leader and team player
• Demonstrate high commitment and reliability.

Job Duties :

• Select the fruit & vegetable assortment by sub-categories depending on retail format and customer profile
• Select the suppliers according to the objective of quality and profitability per category or per product
• Define the quality standard for every product under the responsibility
• Negotiate the trading terms with the suppliers selected:
o Product specification
o Purchase price
o Trading terms (terms and payment and commercial support)
o Pricing strategy
• Monitor the performance (volume, sales, margin) of the categories on regular basis (minimum monthly) and propose alternative to increase the performances
• Benchmark competitor (retailers, traditional and wholesale markets) on weekly basis and propose alternative to improve category performance
• Propose department and category layout for every new store development
• Integrate all data into the system (master file)
• Collaborate with logistic to ensure product integrity up to customers
• Propose category planogram and product display
• Collaborate on the development of new assets equipment, visual marketing etc) to improve the marketing of the product of his category
• Propose new packaging and ways to market the product in stores
• Participate on fair (including abroad) to find new products or new source of supply
• Visit all stores on a weekly basis minimum
• Be responsible for all aspects of the store (for the categories concerned) until the opening
• Communicate with store management on a daily basis
• Train his collaborators and the store team based on the standards required
• Ensure the performance of his categories vs budget.
