GL Finance Plc. (GLF) began its commercial activities in Cambodia in May 2012, being the first step of the regional expansion plan. GLF is the first financial company for motorcycle and agricultural machinery licensed by the National Bank of Cambodia.

GLF has teamed up with Honda NCX to provide financial services to all local Honda customers. Based on this partnership, GLF can support the purchase of brand­new motorcycles from its commercial desk in each official Honda retailer. With presence in 150 outlets, covering of the countries’ provinces, GLF will soon expand to the rest of the country. 
In September 2013, GLF has signed a new partnership with Siam Kubota Co. Ltd. to provide financial leasing on agricultural equipment. This partnership is a step further toward the reaching of unbanked, isolated populations in need financial back up to their business. With presence in 23 outlets, covering of the countries’ provinces, GLF will soon expand to the rest of the country. 

• At least bachelor degree in business administration (with a specialization in accounting), accounting or finance (holding master degree/ACCA/CFA is a plus).
• At least 3 years practical financial analysis and business development experiences, including knowledge of business support/management role within banks or microfinance institutions.
• Demonstrated relationship-building skills, with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of positive influence.
• Superior multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, often deadline-oriented and dynamic environment.

• Evaluating financial reports, such as income statements, cash flow statements and balance sheets, and determining how a company’s finances will impact business operations.
• Facilitating decision making by finance and operations personnel by presenting data analysis and interpretation in clear, compelling ways.
• Making recommendations for action by synthesizing financial information and trends.
• Predicting future business activity to assist product development team and operation team.
• Creating tools or systems, including databases and spreadsheets, to improve financial data analysis and reporting.
• Understand how new laws, regulations and developments will impact businesses in the financial lease sector.
• Assist in business expansion projects, involving area identification, demand analysis, training material preparation, process designing, increase of sales and initial implementation;
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales and Operation and Marketing department for implementation;
• Present to and consult with the department manager on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels;
• Assist in identifying new products, preparing costs and benefits, conducting SWOP analysis, and present to the department manager;
• Provide administrative and risk governance support for the Risk Committee of the Board;
• Assist in developing, maintaining, monitoring the Risk Management Frameworks and effectively implement them throughout the Company;
• Perform credit portfolio and risk analysis, and give recommendation to the Credit Committee for corrective actions;
• Work with Risk Management team in preparing Risk Management Report and propose solution-based actions;
• Other activities related to the above and projects assigned from time to time by Business Performance Manager;
• Be able to work independently with less supervision and capable of taking care of the overall tasks within the department when the department manager is on business trip.
