TrueMoney is a (mobile) payment provider in Cambodia that enables customers, who are typically "un-banked", to access financial services using their mobile phone or/and the TrueMoney agent network (Terminal POS). TrueMoney is building a network of TrueMoney agents, and strategic partners to provide a suite of financial payments services.

• B.S. in computer science, information systems or comparable field required
•  Minimum 1 years of experience as a Database Administrator with Postgresql. Preferred platforms include SQL Server, 
• Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL and MariaDB.
•  1 or more years of experience with Big Data software or Data warehousing.
•  Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
•  Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting database servers.
•  Hands-on database tuning and troubleshooting experience.
•  Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques.
•  Solid understanding of database design principals
•  Solid understanding of query execution plans
•  Good SQL scripts skill including SPs, PSQL scripting
•  Good performance tuning skills
•  Knowledge of disaster recovery principles and practices, including planning, testing, backup/restore, replication.
•  Hands-on experience on database administration, backup recovery and troubleshooting in co-location environments
•  Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live database systems issues.
•  Experience in Linux system administration (preferably 
• Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL).
•  Problem-solving skills
•  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment
•  Prior experience with Telco or ISP is a plus
•  Good at English both writing and speaking
•  Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Self-motivated, excellent communication and  customer handling skill.

•  Work closely with programming staff on database design changes to meet business requirements.
•  Create models for new database development and/or changes to existing ones.
•  Design, architect, and build databases from determining business requirements.
•  Respond to and resolve database access and performance issues.
•  Write and troubleshoot complex stored procedures.
•  Develop and design database objects, such as tables, indexes, constraints, etc.
•  Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes.
•  Modify existing databases and database implementations or direct programmers and analysts to make changes to optimize performance.
•  Monitor database system details within the database, including stored procedures and execution time, and implement efficiency improvements.
•  Duties include performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
•  Perform database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.
•  Design and implement redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of data assets.
•  Monitor, optimize and allocate physical data storage for database systems.
•  Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems.
•  Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.
•  Establish appropriate end-user database access control levels.
•  Schedule, plan, and document installation, operation, and testing of database environments.
•  Some on-call support will be required.
•  Primary on day to day schema changes and database maintenance
•  Help developers to optimize queries, stored procedure and database design
•  Assists in developing and implementing best practices for DR and Backups
•  Assists in evaluating and selecting equipment, services and vendors
•  Assist in Defining and implementing maintenance plan for the database systems.
