• At least 3 years of experience in a luxury restaurant;

• Deep and clear understanding of events - banquet

• Able to create, develop & implement new recipes and menus;

• Creative and passionate about food and the hospitality industry;

• Up-to-date with latest culinary trends;

• Mature, disciplined, committed & a flexible team player with high energy levels.

• Ability to lead and train a team with multi-cultural background;

• Excellent organizational and communication skills;

• Able to handle pressure at busy times;

• Clear understanding of P&L statements;

• Experience in Asia is preferred.

• Manage the events’s kitchen in the Hotel;

• Set up menu and culinary promotion;

• Ensure the highest quality of food produced in line with Sofitel standards;

• Assist with the successful output of high volume Banquets throughout multiple outlets;

• Attend Hotel operations and marketing meetings;

• Maintain FSMS & HACCP standards throughout the Hotel’s Food & Beverage Outlets;

• Action all OHS procedures to Sofitel Guidelines;

• Maintain/Monitor labor and food costs in line with the Hotel’s requirements;

• Interact with guests and ensure outstanding guest experience and satisfaction;

• Develop the kitchen team and conduct trainings.
