•  Degree in computer science or engineering;
•  Experience in doing programming preferably using COBOL in AS/400 or SMART;
•  Minimum 3 years of experience in application development;
•  Analytical skill & knowledge of Window Server, Linux, Unix and Programming Language;
•  Responsible & committed to executing various experiments as per plan;
•  Teamwork and demonstrates intellectual curiosity;
•  Experience in insurance systems is an advantage

•  Design system for new requirements & specify impacts against the existing programs;
•  Create Technical Specification that fits user’s requirements;
•  Enhance existing system and specify the impact;
•  Maintain and document the changes resulted from the implementation of changes;
•  Meet the user requirements & prepare the technical specifications;
•  Conduct unit testing & complete the assignments within the agreed deadline;
•  Review the quality of the accomplished programs/systems before acceptance testing
•  Help the business analyst to define the errors within the agreed time;
•  Create effective and efficient flow of the programs & raise the issues to supervisor if any;
•  Conduct the system analysis with business analyst;
•  Develop functionality to meet defined business requirements;
•  Test unit functionality to ensure it is compliant with business requirements;
•  Analyze problems, then bring up and implement appropriate technical solutions;
•  Understand the overall of LIFE/Asia system is an advantage;
•  Document technical specification, business specification, system integration test, unit testing, test case & test scenario;
