Introduction :

Green Palace Hotel is a new modern hotel situated in the heart of historic city of Cambodia. It was designed and built by a team of local designers and builders to an international standard with the combined concept of comfort and elegant. It is the perfect choice for both the business and leisure travelers.

Primarily responsible to Greet and welcome all guest to the hotel and relieve guests of their luggage on arrival. You will ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times, and that all guest requests are dealt with in a prompt and courteous manner.

Job Requirement :
  • One year experience related field
  • Good command of English
  • Willing to learn for the new experience.
  • Good personality, friendly and team work.
  • Be neatly dressed and well-groomed
  • Good attitude and high morality with honestly
  • High commitment and passion to work
Job Duties :

General responsibilities

  • Provide unique, memorable and professional service to Guests reflecting our image of The Green Palace Hotel.

Communication

  • Communicate in a friendly, tactful and professional manner with Guest, suppliers and fellow Staff Members.
  • Be informed and keep your supervisor informed of all matters that may affect your work, the hotel’s service or reputation.
  • Always present a clean and tidy appearance in accordance with the hotel’s grooming standards

Open Minded

  • Be flexible and open to change in your job responsibilities, and/or roster to meet business needs

Organization

  • Always extend friendly and caring service to every Guest that walks through our door.
  • Have a deep understanding of the hotel’s Mission & Vision and integrate this into your actions.
  • Understand the policies and procedures pertaining to your department’s operation.
  • Be a team player and maintain good relationships with fellow Staff Members.
  • Care about your work environment and make sure it is tidy and well maintained.
  • Your work is important. Pay attention to detail and do every task to the best of your ability

Attitude

  • Seek responsibility and take responsibility for your actions.
  • Understand the Employees Handbook and comply with the standards it outlines.  
  • Be reliable and ensure you are at work on time.
  • Know your job and constantly seek to develop your expertise by participating in company sponsored training programs.
  • Carry out  all professionally reasonable instructions given by your supervisor and use your initiative in the absence of instructions (your supervisor may not always be around to you what to do)

Technical Competency

  •  Report all incidents, accidents and complaints in briefings.
  • Handle cashiering duties in accordance with policies & procedures.
  • Provide service to Guests in accordance with service standards.
  • Know the menu/special promotions as well as prices by heart and assist Guest with recommendations.
  • Prepare the outlet/function room for service.
  • Know the menu/special promotions and assist Guests with recommendations.
  • Know your role in case of a hotel emergency such as fire, bomb threat etc.
  • Ensure all opening and closing duties are implemented in accordance with established standards.
